In 2017, there was nearly any one remake a week being released at the box office. So in this article we would share a list of 2018 fantasy films that had gone way too far. Once through out these year, maximum all the most-anticipated new releases are sequels. Indeed, the films featured on my list are a sequels and every single film is based off an existing film or book. Isn’t it shocking?

Predictably, a whole new host of superhero movies will be gracing our screens through out these years and characters are seen popping up include: Deadpool, the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Venom, Spider-Man, Ant Man, Aquaman, Black Panter and many more.

Young adult adaptations 2018 movies list which were seen back then were 12 Strong and Red Sparrow had appeal to fans of war and spy dramas. On a more light-hearted note that Disney brought us is A Wrinkle in Time, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms and the highly-anticipated one, Mary Poppins Returns. Of course, the one I was most excited for is Fantastic Beast: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and it came up on the screens on November 2018.

12 Strong

12 Strong is an American war and drama based story which is based on a true incident of the “horse soldiers”. Following the attack of 9/11 in New York, US Special Forces were sent to Afghanistan to help fight against the Taliban. Starring Michael Shannon and Chris Hemsworth, this movie is one of the most harrowing films of 2018.

Black Panther

King T’Challa finds the African nation Wakanda under the threat from two dangerous enemies. He teams up with the CIA agent and the Wakanda’s, Dora Milaje, own special forces, to prevent the world war.

Red Sparrow

Red Sparrow movie starring the award-winning Jennifer Lawrence, she tells the story of Russian intelligence officer the Dominika Egorova and the CIA agent Nathaniel Nash. She is tasked with exposing him as an American mole in the Russia but after falling for him she considers to become a double agent herself.

Avengers: Infinity War

Following the Captain America: the Avengers, Civil War have been torn apart. Then Thanos arrives on the Earth to collect the Infinity Stones in order to create a gauntlet that will allow him to control the reality. The Avengers joins their forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to try and stop him.

Solo: A Star Wars Story

Fans of Hans Solo can rejoice for he is finally getting his own spin-off. This had stand-alone instalment is set to prior to the events of the original 1970s film and we follow a young Chewbacca  and Hans Solo on their adventures.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

In the second instalment or the next part of the Fantastic Beasts series, Grindelwald escapes custody of the Magical Congress of the United States of America and begins to raise a pure-blood wizard army. Dumbledore then enlists the help of New Scamander to help defeat Grindelwald but the road ahead is more dangerous than Newt knows. As the wizarding world grows more divided, friendships and loyalties are tested.
